Development Concept:
Introducing the SR-X1, a new entry-level model that reconstructs the traditional circular ear speaker with modern design ideas. Delivering genuine electrostatic sound to the next generation. This sentiment is embodied in the heritage design that is based on the motifs of the previous ear speakers, the SR-1 and SR-X.

Newly designed medium-sized circular unit with flat and neutral reproducibility
The sound body, which is the basis of sound quality, is equipped with a newly designed medium-sized circular unit. It features flat and neutral reproducibility, which is a characteristic of electrostatic type. Compared to the conventional model, the sound unit is placed directly inside the housing, and the joints between each part are minimized to obtain accurate and core sound. The back slit structure on the open surface is not uniform in thickness, but has a smooth curved shape, which allows sound waves to pass smoothly to the outside and reduces distortion. In terms of mechanism, a re-cable structure is adopted. The rational design for high sound quality and the pursuit of thorough minimization applied to various places draw out the maximum performance from the SR-X1.

Renovated arc design and improved fit
By using metal materials for the frame structure, unnecessary resonance is suppressed. The rigidity of the arc assembly, which was often overlooked in conventional entry-level models, has also been updated. By actively using metal materials, the arc and head pad are integrated, resulting in a lightness that does not tire the ears even during long listening sessions. The ear pads are made of sheepskin that is soft to the touch. Memory foam has been newly adopted for the interior to further improve the fit.
