Building upon our 2020 award winning Merlin Series 6 bookshelf speakers, (2020 Best Loudspeaker $500-$1000) the new Merlin S6plus speakers have reached a new level of refinement and will deliver an open sound stage with amazing room-filling sound. The two-way Merlin S6plus use our new Premium soft dome tweeter partnered with our new improved 6 1/2 inch mid/bass driver. These innovations have now led to the Merlin Series 6plus being named the 2025 Stand mount Speaker of the Year under $2,500.

Premium Tweeter
The new tweeter borrowed from the Premium Special Edition range deliveries considerably better sensitivity with a lower resonance frequency and double the power handling resulting in a new level of clarity and engagement like lifting a veil.

Improved Drivers
Our new 6 1/2” lightweight Midrange – Bass drivers have been improved for the Series 6plus Range, they exhibit notable advancements, particularly around the 1KHz range, surpassing its predecessor there’s also a commendable reduction of approximately 10% in nonlinear distortion compared to its predecessor. This all goes to providing a smoother cleaner audible improvement.
