A new vacuum tube driver using the high-output GT tube 6SN7
A new high-end model, the SRM-700T, has been added to the vacuum tube driver unit lineup. The output stage is equipped with two high-output JJ Electronic GT tubes 6SN7. The input stage uses custom low-noise dual FETs with carefully selected pair-matching characteristics to achieve high-purity signal processing. In addition, the high-quality sound design obtained from the flagship model SRM-T8000 is followed everywhere. It is also equipped with a volume bypass switch, so it can be used as a power amplifier dedicated to ear speakers. The clear, high-through-rate vacuum tube sound balances moisture and softness while achieving a highly musical expression. The elastic low range and dense mid-range energy richly reproduce the original expression of music. This is a recommended unit for those who prefer listening to classical music, string instruments, female vocals, etc., which emphasizes the reproduction of luster and space, and for those who want to bring out the expression of the performance contained in high-quality sound sources more richly.
The first stage uses a custom low-noise DUAL FET, and the second stage is equipped with a GT tube "6SN7". This vacuum tube, which is the prototype of the 6FQ7, achieves simple operation with plenty of power. The load resistance is a hybrid type driver unit that uses high-quality VISHAY non-inductive winding resistors. The clear, high-slew-rate vacuum tube sound has been further deepened, and the reproduction has been refined to be warm and spacious.

The FET used in the first stage is a custom-made low-noise DUAL FET that has been carefully selected to combine pair-matched characteristics.

EXTERNAL (BYPASS) mode:
By selecting the EXTERNAL (BYPASS) position on the LEVEL CONTROL MODE switch on the rear panel, you can bypass the built-in volume stage and adjust the volume using the volume control of the source device or an external attenuator. This allows the unit to be used as a power amplifier exclusively for ear speakers.
We have developed a new large aluminum insulator that combines a new material with a high coefficient of friction (high grip) in addition to excellent vibration resistance and load resistance. It provides such high stability that you do not need to hold down the main body even when inserting the ear speaker plug.
