Trendsetting and first-of-its-kind, the Bijou 600 exploits AudioControl’s renowned expertise in high-performance amplifier development to integrate pre-amplifier control and bass management capabilities, plus an audiophile-grade Wolfson digital-to-analog converter, into a compact, 1 U half-rack-mountable chassis, designed to serve secondary zones from afar or be positioned right inside the action.

AudioControl’s Bijou 600 provides dramatic audio quality to improve performance in any localized audio zone. Upgrade the sound of analog or digital television audio, including gaming, by adding the Bijou 600 to external speakers. Improve streamed music sources like SONOS, HEOS, and others by transferring their digital signals for ultra-precise decoding by the onboard Wolfson DAC and amplification by the Bijou 600’s authoritative 100 watts into 8 Ohms or 200 watts into 4 Ohms. Low-impedance stable down to 3.6 Ohms, the Bijou 600 may also be bridged for use as a 400-watt monoblock.

The Bijou 600’s variable volume is controllable either directly or remotely by IR or RS-232, as is source selection between the dual coaxial and TOSLINK digital inputs or the analog input. AudioControl’s patented AccuBASS™ equalization is combined with selectable high-pass and low-pass crossovers for fine-tuning speaker system response to the listening room. A line-level, mono-summed subwoofer output provides added flexibility for remote zone systems. Small in stature at 8.5 x 7.5 x 1.7 inches, TV mounts and rack hardware designed exclusively to facilitate custom installation of the feature-packed Bijou 600 are available from AudioControl dealers.
